LEWIS B. ADELSON is a litigator and trial attorney with an emphasis on general and complex business, commercial and real estate matters, including construction defect cases. Admitted to the California State Bar in 1996, Lewis has tried cases before juries, judges and arbitrators in Southern California. Lewis represents clients of all sizes from large companies to small companies and individuals in need of legal representation for a variety of reasons. Lewis is very result-oriented and, notwithstanding his litigation experience, strives to accomplish his clients’ objectives by pursuing alternative resolution procedures with an eye toward cost savings. Prior to joining Costell & Adelson, Lewis was an associate at Liner Yankelevitz Sunshine & Regenstreif, LLP where he honed his litigation skills in the business, commercial and real estate fields. Lewis has been with Costell & Adelson since 2003 and is a partner at the firm.

Lewis received his Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1991. He received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1996 from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Lewis was an articles editor for the Loyola Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts and Remedies.

Lewis is a licensed member of the California Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in all state and various federal courts in California. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations.

Lewis was born and raised in Los Angeles and currently lives in Venice.
